To the potter, teapots are one of the most difficult objects to make. It's construction is very complex, requiring much attention to form and composition. What is most challenging, however, is that the potter must also consider the teapot's function as a historical and cultural device. This Round Teapot is an example of one of my best attempts at such a formal and demanding object.
This teapot is made by hand from the finest quality porcelain available and glazed with a light blue celadon.
